Poland Visa

Poland visa enables people to travel to Poland for leisure, work, study, or to visit relatives. In their turn, depending on the purpose of your visit, you can use both the short-stay Schengen visa and the national long-term visa. Government

Poland has a system of governance known as a semi-presidential parliamentary republic with a bicameral parliament. The State is governed by the National Assembly which comprises of Sejm with 460 members and a Senate with 100 members only. 

Since 2015, the ruling party has been accused of implementing measures that erode judicial independence and restrict the rule of law putting into question the upsurge in corruption, and threats to democracy. Further, more recent examples of non-compliance with EU calls for compliance with rule-of-law standards for financing deepen these problems.

Economy

The main sectors with large-scale investments are construction machines, iron and steel, coke mining which accounts for over 55% of its primary source of energy, chemical, shipbuilding, food processing, furniture, glass, beverages, and textiles.

Only Poland among EU countries did not experience a recession in the period between the 2008 and 2009 financial crisis. However, growth slowed from 2013-14 since the problems are faced by eurozone countries. The following areas could be further improved: infrastructure, the excessively conservative labor code, an ineffective court system, and, finally, the taxation system.

Tourism

One can name a lot of fascinating places in Poland: the picture of St. Mary’s Basiloworld’s statue by Veit Stoss in Kraków, Malbork Castle or Masurian Lakes or Tatra National Parks, Old Town Market – Square in Warsaw. It has 17 world heritage sites including Auschwitz-Birkenau, The Churches of Peace, Toruń’s historic city center, The Białowieża Forest, and many others.

Education

Poland is one of the cheapest countries in Europe to study, with even free PhD courses, and no university entrance exams. To enroll in an academic year, international students require; a completed certificate of secondary education, documentary evidence of financial resources, and adequate knowledge of English or Polish language. Poland has nearly 500 universities with 16 Universities in the QS World University rank and provides good education with lively societies. Warsaw and Kraków are two cities for instance that have been ranked to be very cheap but vibrant. For instance, 18 Nobel laureates have been associated with the learning institutions found in Poland.
